Set up a custom domain for Sixuse
Use your own domain for project identities by adding the records Sixuse provides, then verify the domain in the dashboard.
1. Add the domain
Open a project, choose custom domains, and enter the domain you control. Sixuse creates a pending verification record and detects the DNS provider when possible.
2. Add the DNS records
Add the TXT verification record plus the MX, SPF, and DKIM records shown in the setup flow. Keep existing records unless the instructions explicitly ask you to replace them.
3. Verify and test
DNS changes can take time to appear. Run verification from the dashboard, then send a test message to an identity on the custom domain.
Troubleshooting
- Check that the TXT value is copied exactly.
- Use the host name format required by your DNS provider.
- Remove duplicate or conflicting MX records only when you know they belong to the old mail service.
